I agree there are some good favs to play and also some bad ones.. Not sure I agree on those games and also the fact that you say going 50-50 and being up is unappealing - thats BS and you know it!! Winning is winning money not a record! Rather go 2-3 + units on a night then 3-2 even or minus units! Not saying only play dogs but betting favs straight up will get you no where.
Everyone will be on Kersh I do like him but I'm not playing this one its way too scary. I'll prob play Verl on a parlay and loving the fact that the forum is choosing Kersh over him for the winner of favs tmrw.

I agree that it's all about winning money but I would much rather go 4-1 laying chalk than go 2-3 betting on huge dogs if the money is the same. I hate losing very badly

I've had very good luck with favs in the past but I think a lot of it depends on your style. I've gone very long streaks winning at about 70-75% while laying say - 150 avg play
I generally feel much more comfortable and confident getting a read with favs than I do underdogs.
There are guys who win playing a lot of dogs and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. It's just all about how good you can read matchups

Def agree about bankroll management but don't believe anyone has made money long term betting favs straight up and 'riding' hot teams. Hot teams lose every team loses its just when. -250 teams lose. Those hits are tough to counter and overcome. You sound like a smart guy and informed bettor I won't judge but until someone proves it I ain't buying. Still think parlaying 2's and you still have to be sharp to hit is the way to go. And there are def trap lines out there and lines that make you think twice. SF tomorrow. Why are they favored -135 when Locke has better record and ERA and SF just got pounded. Thats a trap line IMO. Anyway BOL to you.

Yes popular teams get bet more.. Bettors must've got killed on TOR start of the year.. Popular team and huge letdown. Love betting the Brewers! Totally agree on that part. I believe people focus way too much on trends, records, and numbers - but thats just me. Everyone got their system. BOL.
