Plus I just can't shake the feeling that besides T-Blow being rancid, that he's a phony, too. I half expect to pick up the paper someday soon and read where he's running with ganagbangers, held up a liquor store or has 6 kids out of wedlock.
Didn't Deadspin do an expose on him once?

Congrats. You can name players on the Chiefs offense. That makes them good? Do I even watch or study football? Maybe you should ask yourself that. The fact that you put McClain's name on that list shows how much you really know. He doesn't even have 100 rushing yards on the season. And if Kyle Orton is such a good game manager...why did he lose his job?

Of course I'll be rooting for Orton. Like I've said time and time again...I have nothing against Tebow, but I'm sick about hearing what a great player he is. Because he's not.
And yes...he's had a great run with a ton of breaks. He's been "successful" because he's been winning. But if your entire gameplan for every 6 of 7 games is to win on the final drive...you will NOT have long term success.

Stewart only played a full season in 5 of those seasons. And in parts of 4 other seasons he had a total of 37 pass attempts. Just because he's been around for nearly 10 years doesn't mean he did anything worthy enough to stick around. He was a backup for the same amount of years as he was a starter.
As for Vince Young...he's a backup after having a full season's worth of starts for, what, 2-3 years? And I know you threw in that whole "he is now the backup to one of the best QBs in the league" to make it mean something but all it means is that he's still a backup because nobody wanted to have him as their starter. And with the bad group of quarterbacks in the league right now, that's probably even a worse insult.
These 2 guys have something in common, though. They were running QBs who had good first seasons until defenses caught on to their antics and then they started going downhill. And the difference between Stewart, who had 3 years between having another solid season, and Tebow is that Stewart wasn't nearly as bad of a passer that Tebow is.

Vince Young sucks. He's the thin version of Jamarcus Russell.Pretty much useless.

Man, Stewart really was trash. O, he had a handful of good games, alright, but as a Pittsburgher I couldn't wait for him leave, nasty rumors and all. When T-Max arrived, it was like a God send - until he almost got killed and was never the same again. The good thing was he saved us from the pergatory named Kordell Stewart.

The Chiefs should be favored on the road in Denver? Boy do I wish you were a linesmaker.
What side are you on anyway? Are you on the side that says Tebow is good? The side that says Tebow is bad? Or are you just a Chiefs fan?

Tebow is almost a rookie (only a few starts last season, missed the most critical offseason of a player’s career, new coach, etc.) yet some people think he won’t improve even a little and this is the best he’ll ever be.
We are talking about a guy that had about 10,000 passing yards in college with a 66.4 completion percentage and 88 TDs, but there’s no way he will get better?

Have you seen his QB rating?????? Show me 1 QB who has had a successful lasting career with that PATHETIC of a rating.
5 trips to the Super Bowl
2 Super Bowl rings
9 Pro Bowls
16 seasons
Hall of fame
I think almost everyone would agree that would be considered a “successful lasting career.”
Tim Tebow career passer rating: 77.4
John Elway career passer rating: 79.9
While not exactly the same it’s pretty close.
Also Tebow’s rating is over 10 points higher than Elway’s was at this point.
