Obviously Virginia got absolutely whacked last night by a really good UW team, but today is a different story. Typically, teams who get demolished and then turn around and play another game less than 24 hours later are much, much sharper since they're still mad as hell and don't have time to dwell on the loss.
I'm surprised at how many people are on an Oklahoma team that, quite frankly, is as disheveled as UVA and only has one consistent scorer in Cade Davis. I think Mike Scott will have his way with the OU bigs and Virginia will be able to implement its methodical tempo, unlike last night when UW was simply too fast and too athletic.

Virginia is without a doubt the play here. You couldn't have a more advantageous time/line. Everyone think Oklahoma is a good team because they lost by twelve to Kentucky? And all of a sudden Virginia is the so much worse because they lost to Washington? I'm not saying Oklahoma doesn't win, but what I am saying is that in this match up 3.5 points and +145 on the ML is way too good to pass up.

Last night was there return game. They whacked by Stanford. Last night whacked by Washington. It must be the Pac 10 because both Pac 10 teams have beat the snot out of them.

Since I'm a Washington alma mater, obviously I'm glad they kicked UV's bvtts.
But I have to agree with you. Washington has athletes that play a very high tempo explosive type of game. Oklahoma doesn't.
So many times we're all fooled by thinking there is carryover from a previous game. I don't think it'll happen. Oklahoma is a very different type of team.

Laying off OU second half, though there is a nice middle opportunity. UVA blew the doors off William & Mary in the 2nd half a little over a week ago in a similar type of game, and I don't see them letting up after last night's debacle

Wish I had put more on this, obviously. Pretty much the best situational play I've seen thus far in the very young season. Have to think Wichita St. is a 4-5 pt. favorite against UVA tomorrow
