I took the over 5 wins a few weeks back. I think their defensive front is really good, top 10. Their offensive line is also top 10 and they will have a nice running game. Basically it all comes down to Glennon and if he can play. He only has to play at an average QB level for the bears to get at least 5 wins IMO. They are very unlikely to start Trubisky before the bye and he's a rookie anyway. Only like 1 in 10 rookies play good their first year like Dak, the rest aren't going to come out on fire even the first round rookies. The bears fans will be calling for Trubisky all season just like any other fanbase who has a round 1 QB drafted. Cam Meredith does hurt a bit but not like he was overall dominant to start with. They were the most injured team last year or top 2 from memory with the Chargers, so in this case a regression back to the average number of injuries will also help.

my best and probably only bet on nfl wins total is going to be under 5.5 wins for the bears. killer schedule
If you take into account strength of schedule by vegas odds for the upcoming season not just win/loss results from previous year then Bears are just about average in terms of strength of schedule.

The Bears will be lucky to go 1-7 on the road this year maybe 2-6...they will also go at best 3-5 at home....anything above 5 wins is a great season for them
