Hahaha! I agree this write up had a lot of fluff. I was going to respond by saying this is the most irrelevant write up ever, and BB is about to go 3-1 with his Patriot game picks this season.
Going by what the players say during the game is not an effective way to cap or predict the winner, because these players know they are on the mic and they just say that stuff for the act (IMO)
A better way to cap a game would be to look at the way the coaches are acting during their pre game interview (If you can do this and get your bets in ASAP because usually this is minutes before the game starts) and if you see them trying to act all happy and excited, yet you can clearly see through the acting job and you see through it, you know that coaches team is going to lose the game
A perfect example of what I am talking about, is Pete Carol before Seattle's last game against Atlanta. He tried acting all excited like his team had a chance to win, but you could see through the acting job. He was totally bummed. He knew his team had no chance, and you could see it. I had Atlanta BIG in that game before I ever saw the interview, but I texted a friend after the interview and told her "ATLANTA WINS FOR SURE" because after the pre game interview, just sealed it
Ok I took 500 words explaining myself as well, but at least what I just wrote is valuable. Whoever is reading this, don't forget to try what I said. It works almost every time! Occasionally you will get a coach who is a much bettor actor than Pete Carrol, and he may trick you, by appearing genuinely excited, so you think his team is going to win, but it ends up being the losing team
