Are you being serious or sarcastic? If so, why does the consensus seem that it's a foregone conclusion that the WCF is for the title? If all the Cavs need is Home Court to be expected to win against the Spurs, I would think it shouldn't be such a foregone conclusion in the Finals then that they stand no chance.
I'm lost.
This is the first time in the NBA where I've immediately had a "put the house on it" feeling when I was looking over the card. Of course, that may be telling since I'm so Joe Public in this league....

Clev lost so bad to Golden State, but this time I would say 80%,Clev will win, look at the line,Spurs only -2,the bookies want you to bet on Spurs.Clevland will not lose to the best team two in a row.

I can see Cavs winning this game. I have them on a short term up cycle. They covered the 6 point spread and lost by 4 couple of weeks ago at San Antonio when Spurs were on a 9 game win streak and Cavs were playing their 5th straight road game. Yeah, Cavs win SU

there is definitely an expectation around that the cavs will go on some kind of run now to show that dumping the coach was in fact a good move...im not totally buying that but understand that the cavs have lost all of their tussles so far this season against the true heavyweights of the league and will be DESPERATE for a statement win to show that they belong......BUT i am with you in recognising that spurs are without doubt the much better team with better depth, defense and chemistry..kind of agree that it looks a bit of a sucker line but i may just fall for it and hope nothing funny goes on.......wud obviously prefer not to be on the road but to a vet team like san antonio thats not a deal breaker.
as always, check line-ups beforehand to check popovich dont pull any of his shenanigans, theyre already minus duncan.

But why pick a side ? Cavs avg 86.4 shots/100 possessions. They've allowed over 100 points in all but 1 game since their immortal beat down by the warriors.
Cavs don't defend home court well. They lose to other playoff teams at home and with such a low total expect LA/TP/Kawaii/ +mills/green to put the cavs in their coffin one final time and sweep the series. This game has over written all over it with the cavs run and gun offense leaves little energy to play quality defense.
If you don't play defense you don't win. Especially vs the spurs

Spurs 112 cavs 101 (if they r lucky)
Cavs ML for me. Tim is out for this game. Cavs learned their lesson from G/State. GL

I mean don't get me wrong. Cavaliers are not incapable of winning. I just think they only win if the rims were tightened over night upon their arrival and everything bounced out. KLOVE IS GOING TO be mismatched vs LA and West and maybe even diaw. He has no defense he's like the James hardens of the 4 spot. Which is why I'm on the over 205

Great game tonight. A lot of mental calculations to be made here, based on recent and not so recent events:
- both have been blown out by the Warriors in the last month. How will that effect the game? This is very clearly a battle to be 2nd best in the league. Does that lessen the appeal for some of the players than if it were a game to show who is in the top spot? - new coach, 1st marquee match-up. Will the Cavs have this on their minds. Specifically, will Lebron? - Cavs are playing the second of a back to back and their third in four nights, all in the middle of a coaching change and a memo to increase the pace they play at. The Cavs have performed well in the past week but to say their mental and physical fatigue levels are not higher than you would usually expect would be naive. - The Spurs have been historically great. They have lost to Golden State and Oklahoma City without avenging the losses. They have only one win over a championship calibre team: The Cavs at home, by 4. Just how good exactly, are these Spurs?
Many other factors are in play.
I like the over, as another poster has mentioned. As for who wins, I suspect it is the Spurs, and mostly because I feel the Cavs are going to be worn out. That always shows more against the best teams.
