Apparently Bobby Mac saying both gone. Shero would have been a no brainer for philly gm job, but Hextall there. Think he gets the Washington job. Does Pierre McGuire get the Pens job?

The Penguins will continue to pay for allowing Crosby to chase Michel Therrien out of town. Pens have been trash ever since and will continue to be going forward. What coach with any pride would want to coach there? It has to be a guy that Crosby can push around and yell at and embarrass on the bench in front of the team and all their fans. What coach with any self respect would put himself in that situation?
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

don't forget that 2008-09 regular season when Therrien was coaching it looked like the Penguins would not even MAKE the playoffs. they went on a tear after Danny Bylsma took over THEN won the Stanley Cup
I think the thing that hurt the Penguins most since 2009 was having #1 assistant Mike Yoe go to Minnesota as their head coach

Yes they did Rink but if you played hockey to a decent level you would know that you play under a structured system, and the Penguins were playing under Therrien's structured system throughout those playoffs, the same system that took them to the finals the season before. A team doesn't design a new structure with 20 games left in a season LOL.
Bylsma was doing NOTHING more than simply opening the gate for the rest of that season. Every single full season under Bylsmas reign and lack of system, they have sucked, which includes the very next season when Therrien took a team with a lot less talent and beat Bylsmas poorly coached Penguins in the quarter finals.
The Penguins were in a slump because Crosby had gotten the team to quit on their coach therefore chasing Therrien out of town.
The Crybaby was very vocal in his displeasure over Therrien yelling at him and not letting him control things. Ever since then Crosby has run the team and they have lack any kind of system or structure at all. This is the reason Bylsma has not been fired yet, and any imbecile can see that not only should it already have happened this season but it should have happened last season, but Crosby is keeping him there because he can control him. If Mario does not put a leash on Crosby then they are never going anywhere ever again.
