I HATE The Dodgers but he is a class act! I grew up a Giants fan because of Will Clark! Also root locally for America's darlings-those Pittsburgh Pirates! In the AL just to root for somebody, I chose back in 1990, The California Angels, or whatever city they call them in now. Should be original and be Orange CO. That would be a FIRST in Pro sports! Having a county instead of city province, or state......
As mentioned above in a post does the games by himself-very very hard to do NOT having dead air time! I remember him doing the GAME-OF-THE WEEK on NBC Sat. afternoon's! AWESOME ANNOUNCER! Best call as a kid, "Ball through Buckner's Legs!" "There SHE Goes!" Gibson HR on some wobble legs! I have heard calls of him on The PGA Tour for a short time on CBS; and he had the CBS NFC Championship Game of "THE CATCH" '9ers over 'Boys!
After he is gone. IMO, You'll still have JIM NANTZ, JOE BUCK, MARV ALBERT, and I cannot stand him but is a legend Al Michaels. Getting good with many sport calls and will be up there in time: KEVIN HARLAN, MIKE TIRICIO, IAN EAGLE, and GUS Johnson!!!

@nieldllacroce-ABSOLUTELY BUDDY! Wish John Miller was still doing ESPN SUNDAY NIGHT GAME-OF-THE-WEEK! I was glad2hear him on the T.V. side 2nite of the SF Giants telecast, and wish he would be permanent instead of Duane!
NO 1 said one of the other GREAT announcers, in which I forgot2mention in an earlier post; that does many talents hosting of Sunday Night Football, was the anchor pre-game NFL LIVE on NBC, Pre+post NBA-ALL hosting of Winter/Summer Olympic action, and was in the studio and now does play-by-play for MLB. He is a host at The Triple Crown and Breeder's Cup-IMO only thing he isn't very good at. Yep, *BOB COSTAS* MOST knowledgeable play by play in all sports +can host and anchor any sporting event besides Jim Nantz!
