Season: 88-86-3
1st Half: 80-83-3
2nd Half: 8-3-0
Yankees/Angels: Nova and Weaver take the hill and you might as well flip a coin on the side, but why do that when you can bank on the under. Both Nova and Weaver are very capable of shutting down their opponent and if just 1 of them has a solid outing, this under should hit with relative ease. Under 9.5 (-125)
Giants vs. Houston: Matt Cain will look for another home dominance against the Astros. Jed Lowrie left Saturdays game with an injury and he won't be in an already depleted Astros line up. I expect Cain to hold the Astros in check and the Giants to come away with a deceive win. I am eliminating the insane juice and going with the RL. I love RL plays when your opponent has a small chance of even scoring. Giants RL (+105)
Blue Jays vs. Indians: The Blue Jays should have no problem getting to Derek Lowe. He comes into the contest with a 4.43 era, but he has struggled on the road going 3-5 with a 5.96 era. The Blue Jays score runs in bunches and should have no problem getting to Lowe early and often. Carlos Villanueva getting the start for the Jays has been good since being slated into the starting role going 3-0 with a 3.05 era, he also coming off a strong scoreless outing against KC. Blue Jays ML (-140)
Royals vs. White Sox: There are only certain times when you should feel comfortable laying -150 juice on the road. Having Chris Sale on the mound against the Royals is one of those situations. Besides his ridiculous numbers that I don't even have to post, the White Sox offensive is making easier for him averaging 10.3 runs per game in his last 3 starts. The Sox let Saturday's game get away from them, look for a huge outing from both Sale and the offense as the Sox leave KC taking 2 out of 3. White Sox (-150)
I would have loved to offset some of my favorite plays with a dog or two, but on numerous attempts of looking up n down Sunday's card, I simply didn't seen anything I liked and worth pulling the trigger on. I think the favorites have a big day on Sunday with lots of Aces taking the hill.
