1-0 last posted plays. Duke with the relatively easy covers at FSU.
Saturday's Plays to this point:
UNC -3.5 (As many know, I am probably the Wahoos biggest fan around. That being said I just can't see them winning this game today, as they are essentially down to 7 scholarship players between transfers and injuries. In their first matchup North Carolina had 19 offensive rebounds, and outrebounded UVA by 17. I don't see what changes today. If Mike Scott gets in any foul trouble against Henson, Zeller, etc... UVA is in deep trouble. With Joe Harris at 50% and Sene out, this is virtually an impossible task.
Michigan -5 (Put simply... Michigan does not lose at home.) If I am not mistaken Michigan has not lost at home this year, and is 8-0 in league play. Michigan should win out heading into the Big 10 tournament.
Syracuse -5 (Major fade of UConn, do these guys EVER cover a spread anymore? As a CT resident I watch almost every UConn game and this is a team in total disarray. I know a lot of people think they have momentum after a prayer from Shabazz against Nova, and are desperate for a win... I just don't see it. Their ball movement is PATHETIC, and against a tough Syracuse zone that is a recipe for disaster. Can UConn shoot out the zone? Does money grow on trees? UConn has to be one of the worst 3 point shooting teams in the country, Shabazz and Boatright shooting out a zone, I think I will pass. Oriakhi has been a major disappointment and Drummond has not lived up to the hype, not to mention he shoots 32% from the charity stripe. Syracuse zone is going to rattle UConn, and Cuse likely wins by double digits.
