First losing day in 11 days. Now it's back to grinding these out. Got sloppy and threw in a gamble play at the last minute to get that daytime fix.
I think I'm going to take nothing but runlines against the Astros for the next 2 months. That play will be counted separately as the "Hometown Buffet" special of the day.
I am certain many people on this site eat there with their families for Thanksgiving and other special occasions.
I'm looking over the menu and there are many tasty selections.
CHIC/PIT O 8.0 +100 - solid total fade.
This play makes me totally uncomfortable. A string of these have hit in a row and the Pirates have never gotten 4 overs in a row this season.
Ortiz looks terrible on paper. I don't know where the Cubs dug this long lost journeyman from, but they must be stone cold desperate for pitchers right now.
Maholm is throwing fireballs every time out. Maybe it's a hot streak, but it seems like all these Pirates pitchers magically became aces overnight.
Don't know why or how, but either they have a top notch pitching coach or they all got the same dealer.

We got 2 pitchers capable of very bad things. This can blow up in my face and easily go over by the third.
Both offenses can score with Minnesota lighting it up recently. The Sox are still not playing to full capacity. Recently Peavey addressed this in the media so maybe with him being on the mound this might encourage his teammates to play with intensity.
But who knows. It'll probably be just another day at the park for the Sox, full of strikeouts, double plays, and guys LOB.

It was either this or NYY RL or MIL RL. This seemed like the most difficult to achieve.
I'm beginning to like this Phillies team but that doesn't mean I like paying for them.
Cole Hamels is a machine. I knew this was going to be his year to step up and outshine the other 3. And so far he just about has. The Braves have still hit him slightly above average, usually getting 3 runs off him.
The Phillies offense is barely there sometimes, but who needs a great offense when you have a bunch of guys throwing that can go 7 on a bad day.
Hopefully Derek Lowe has already started the break and will show up still drunk tomorrow morning.
I've always enjoyed fading the Phillies, we even boo Kobe Bryant and Santa Claus.
Detroit RL -108 - an away juiced RL. Not a fade.
This line is ludicrous. Earlier in the year it was Jared Weaver, now it's Verlander. And by the time the line gets this juiced it's too late. 1-0 losses occur, stuff that no ordinary man can cap.
But the astonishing rate of runlines Verlander has hit is why I like this play. So what he threw 129 pitches last game, the dude can throw.
The Royals fluke 13 run day isn't going to scare me off this. Neither is Francis or the Royals bullpen.

NYM/SFG U 6.5 -115 - This will be a KO punch to my punk ass bookie. I've already relieved him of over 5 figures the last 2 weeks so this will be my last play with him. And it will be excessive. Will not be watching.

That's what happens when I open my big mouth. 2 moose jobs in the 8th and 9th.
I saw a few people I don't like on the NYM/SFG U so I am not playing it.
Just realized I had the MIN/CHISOX U 9. So it's a push for me, but for accurate records we'll call it a loss. I need to start updating the lines from now on.
