You said it all right there, brotha! This should be a good close game. I'm getting it now at +4.5 before it goes down any further. Even with K.G. out, the Celtics just have too much depth - I'm even gonna include "Semi-Pro" Scalabrine in that mix!!!!!!!
**A word of advice to everybody watching the game at home**
TiVo the game for the first 45 minutes or so, then start it. Then you can skip over those same stupid Charles Barkley T-Mobile commercials they show every 5 minutes.......

the series line was offered at -110 for both teams here going into game 1 despite boston's home court advantage. The way that line opened up at -4.5 and stood there tells me that the books are pushing money on boston right now, as if the magic were going to win by 10+, or else they would not have applied the hook to make it harder to take the magic, who's backers need a game in which orlando subdues them rather than wins a nail biter. This -4.5 also came out and stood still, despite the abscence of raefer "slap my bitch up" alston who felt like his team would be fine without him for a game. The magic were almost dominant without howard, and i really think they have enough capable ball handlers to not be thrown off too badly, between anthony johnson and turkoglu.
Also, using the "teams cover their next game after getting blown out on national television theory" for orlando as well as its converse for boston, the magic will be ready to come out firing and make sure they don't cough up the home court advantage they now enjoy. The 4.5 point spread has given those who remember it hitting for boston in chicago hope for a repeat of that format of series, however that's more reason to me that the right play is the magic.

Sorry to disappoint you but the game is on ESPN fellas. This should make you happy nbaguru.
As for the game itself I love Boston here. They've been dominating this series over the last 3 halfs and now with no Alston I think the Magic are in trouble. Anthony Johnson couldn't even bring the ball up the court against Rondo in the 2nd half of Game 1. And he's way too slow to keep up with Rondo on defense. Kendrick Perkins is a great matchup against Dwight Howard. He's big, stands his ground and forces Howard to shoot those hook shots from just inside the free throw line. Pierce barely played in game 2 so he should be well-rested and ready to contribute. Look for him to have a big game. Courtney Lee was questionable until today and now he's probable. He'll probably have to wear one of those face masks. Besides Richard Hamilton, who fell in love with his, players hate to wear those things so I don't expect much from him tonight either.
And does anyone else think Stan Van Gundy is the worst coach in the league? I love when they cut to him talking to his team during a timeout. It looks like half of the guys aren't even listening. I have no clue why he's not getting the ball to Rashard Lewis more often because Orlando has a huge mismatch there when Big Baby is in the game guarding him.

Magic -4.5 alston's suspension wakes the team up expesically howard van gandy is a good coach he will have them ready after that embarrassment in game 2.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- With Rafer Alston suspended and Jameer Nelson already injured, the Orlando Magic are running out of point guards. The NBA suspended Alston one game Thursday for slapping Eddie House in the back of the head, leaving the team in the hands of 34-year-old Anthony Johnson and seldom-used Tyronn Lue for Friday's Game 3 against the Boston Celtics in their Eastern Conference semifinal.
