Buffalo Bills quarterback E.J. Manuel will miss Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins after spraining his knee last week.
Backup Thad Lewis will make his fourth start of the season for the Bills. Lewis was signed off the Bills practice roster to replace Manuel earlier in the season when he suffered a separate knee injury. Lewis went 1-2 (2-1 ATS) as the Bills starter with the one win coming against the Dolphins back in Week 7.
The Bills will also be without receiver Stevie Johnson, who was excused from the team after the death of his mother.
The Bills (7-7 ATS) opened as 2.5-point home dogs against the Dolphins (9-5 ATS), but keep an eye the line now that Buffalo will be without two of their top playmakers. The total is currently set at 43.
Lewis has passed for 652 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions this season.
