Wagerline contestant now two plays away from $25,000

When you’re hot, you’re hot and when you’re on fire you get paid.

Wagerline.com player Amish Kohli - also known as kohli4 to Covers.com members- is now just two winning picks away from earning $25,000 and six correct calls from the $100,000 grand prize. Kohli moved one step closer the big money Thursday night when he took the Orioles to beat the Royals as a small underdog on the road. The O's beat K.C. 9-5.

Kohli is the latest contestant to catch fire in Wagerline’s Streak Survivor. The free contest rewards users who can make consecutive winning picks on the side or total. Kohli, who has picked 19 straight winners, just received $1,000 for hitting the 17-win plateau.

He’ll collect a check for $25,000 if he pushes the streak to 21 and $100,000 if he reaches 25. He’s endured a couple close calls with his last five picks, pushing twice (a push doesn’t end your streak).

“I have been a Wagerline and Covers member for sometime,” Kohli said. “It is a great website and very useful to its members. I’m ready to take a shot for the big prize.”

Kohli has picked MLB and NBA games primarily throughout his run. The hot capper’s overall Survivor record stood at a modest 68-96-1 before catching fire with his selections.

Congratulations also to DGrega who won $1,000 for the best overall record (23-6) for the month of April.

Be sure to follow the Streak Survivor leaderboard to see if Kohli continues his quest for 25 straight wins.
