Hot 'over' bet Braves lose skipper Gonzalez for two games

May 10, 2013 |
The Atlanta Braves have been a hot over bet recently, having played over the total in six straight games.

Atlanta will be without manager Fredi Gonzalez for the next two games, however, as he will attend his daughter's graduation. Bench coach Carlos Tosca will take over managing duties in Gonzalez' absence.

The Braves are lighting up scoreboards over their past six games, averaging 6.3 runs per game over that stretch. Any $100 bettor would be up $607.15 if they had wagered the over during the current Atlanta streak.

Atlanta continues its series with the San Francisco Giants Friday with the second game of a four-game set. The total for the game currently sits at seven.
