Duncan, Leonard out, Spurs line moves down

Mar 12, 2013 |
San Antonio Spurs power forward Tim Duncan will be out of the lineup tonight according to a Tweet from @SportsInsights at around 1 p.m. ET.

The veteran big man is out with a knee injury apparently suffered last night in a win over Oklahoma City. The Spurs are 8.5-point road favorites tonight at Minnesota. The line opened at 9 and moved to 9.5 at some books before coming back down.

The Spurs are 8-2 SU (straight up) and 5-2-1 ATS (against the spread) in games where Duncan did not play this season. Both losses came on the road to Detroit and Miami.

The over/under is 6-1-1 with Duncan out.

DeJuan Blair and Boris Diaw could see an increased role tonight in Duncan's absence.

WBIR.com is also reporting that small forward Kawhi Leonard will miss tonight's game as well.

This means 3 of the Spurs' regular starting 5 is out, including Tony Parker.

The Spurs are 6-1 ATS without Parker.
