Dating back to the 2011 NHL Playoffs, the New York Rangers have skated to an Over/Under record of 16-31-19 in 66 postseason games. If you've blindly bet the under, you've cashed in at a rate of 66 percent in those games.

Through four games against the Pittsburgh Penguins during this current postseason campaign, the Under has gone 3-1 heading into Friday's Game 5 matchup at Madison Square Garden in New York.

During those five playoff appearances over the previous five years, the Rangers have recorded a 9-15-8 O/U (62.5 percent Under) count in front of their home fans.

The Rangers and Penguins have only met this season and last season in the playoffs over this stretch, but the O/U record in those meetings is 3-7-1 (70 percent Under).

As with most matchups during the 2015 playoffs, oddsmakers have tabbed Game 5 with a total of 5.
