Heisman odds: Manziel pulling away from pack

Nov 23, 2012 |
Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III became the 10th quarterback in the last 12 years to win the prestigious Heisman Trophy last season. As the 2012 college football season winds down, three quarterbacks and a ball-hawking linebacker have stood out and increased their odds since the preseason rankings were released. Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel, Kansas State’s Collin Klein, Ohio State’s Braxton Miller and senior Notre Dame LB Manti Te’o are all making cases for the honor, while USC signal-caller Matt Barkley, who started the season as the undisputed Heisman favorite, has seen his odds fall off the map.

Here’s a look at the updated 2012 Heisman Trophy odds:

Johnny Manziel -300
Collin Klein +250
Manti Te’o +400
Braxton Miller +2000
