Seahawks QB Hasselbeck will not play vs. Colts

Matt Hasselbeck will miss another game due to a broken rib, giving Seneca Wallace his second straight start at quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks.

Seahawks coach Jim Mora Jr. told the Seattle Times on Wednesday that he does not expect Hasselbeck to play vs. the Indianapolis Colts. Wallace started last week and threw for 261 yards, one TD and one pick in a loss to Chicago, managing just 5.9 yards per attempt.

Wallace catches a bit of a break as the Colts' strong pass rush probably will be without sack leader Dwight Freeney. However, the Seahawks are down to third-string left tackle Brandon Frye as both Walter Jones and backup Sean Locklear are hurt.

Seattle has scored six touchdowns in six quarters with Hasselbeck and one touchdown in six quarters with Wallace.

There is still no line or total on the Seattle-Indianapolis game.
