Check out our quick-hitting betting notes on all of Monday's ranked college basketball games:
(20) Cincinnati at (4) Syracuse (-9)
Two days removed from knocking off the No. 1 team in the country on the road, Syracuse will get another difficult test when it hosts Cincinnati. The Orange have won seven straight and have yet to fall in Big East play. The Bearcats have won three straight and are undefeated on the road. Cincinnati was one of the better scoring teams in the country during the non-conference portion of its schedule before struggling dropping three of four from Dec. 27 to Jan. 7. The Bearcats are averaging 71.3 points during the three-game winning streak but point guard Cashmere Wright, who averages over 15 points per game, is questionable with a knee injury. The Bearcats are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.
Georgetown at (23) Notre Dame (-6)
The Hoyas’ up-and-down conference season continued in Saturday’s 61-58 loss to struggling South Florida – their second Big East loss by three points or less – after wins against St. John’s and Providence. Greg Whittington – Georgetown’s second-leading scorer and rebounder – has missed the last three games and is out indefinitely (academics). The Irish are the conference’s third-highest scoring team while the Hoyas are the league’s second-stingiest scoring defense. The Hoyas are 7-0 ATS in their last seven games following an ATS loss.
