Job Description:

As an Application Developer you will be immersed in a true team environment that encourages individual and team success.  We are a fast paced environment full of people that love what they do.  Your competencies with ASP.Net, Java, and MS SQL Server will enable you to be a major contributor to the team that utilizes these leading technologies.

Responsibilities

The primary duties of this position are as follows:

 

  • Plans, develops, tests, and documents solutions, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems
  • Support and maintenance of existing solutions
  • Programming, debugging, optimizing, and testing
  • Analyzes, reviews, and alters program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
  • Works with members of a team bringing an idea to be a final product
  • Technical documentation

Job Qualifications:

Essential skills and experience for this position include:

•    Computer Science degree required
•    Design and analysis skills
•    3 - 5 years experience with programming skills such as C#, ASP. NET, Java, HTML, XML/XSLT, RDBMS, SQL Server 2000
•    Superior written and oral communication
•    Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
•    Problem solving skills necessary
•    Ability to get to speed to close knowledge gaps on new technology
•    Superior testing and debugging skills
•    Multi-tasking
•    Strong self-motivation
•    Working within timeliness that are sometimes aggressive
•    Ability to manage your own time and set priorities within tasks assigned.

Additional skills that would be helpful but are not essential:

•    Technical documentation skills an asset
•    Sports knowledge
•    Network Administration
