Conklin recalled to replace Leclaire

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Blue Jackets added goaltender Ty Conklin to the roster on Saturday on an emergency recall from the club`s American Hockey League affiliate in Syracuse.

Conklin will fill in for goaltender Pascal Leclaire, who suffered a hamstring injury during the Blue Jackets` 3-2 victory over Vancouver on Friday night. Conklin will back up starter Fredrik Norrena.

Conklin, 30, stopped 10 of 11 shots in 54:32 of action in two games with the Blue Jackets earlier this season while Leclaire was out with a knee injury. He has a 2-10-1 record with a 3.33 goals-against average in 14 games with Syracuse this season.

Columbus lost 4-0 to the Islanders in Long Island Saturday. New York was -159 favorites and played under the 6-point total.
