Vikings WR Jerome Simpson arrested on DWI charge

Vikings' WR Jerome Simpson has been arrested on a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated.

Simpson was arrested Saturday morning after he refused a breathalyzer.

The sixth-year wideout leads the Vikings with 491 yards this season to go along with 33 receptions, but don't expect this to affect the Vikings lines much, if at all. The QB-carousel of Christian Ponder, Josh Freeman and Matt Cassel are ranked 23rd in the NFL in passing offense.

Simpson was suspended by the NFL for three games at the start of last season after being sentenced to 15 days in jail and three years probation on a felony drug-related charge in 2012.
