USA now -500 after taking lead at President's Cup

The Americans jumped out to a 3 1/2 - 2 1/2 lead over the International team after Day 1 of the Presidents Cup.

Heading into the tourney, the United States opened anywhere from -300 to -400 to win outright. Following the lead after the opening day, the American's are currently -500 (Bet365) to win the Cup.

The International team is priced at +450 with a tie going for +1600.

Friday has six points up for grabs and features six Foursome matches with tee times beginning at 1:10 p.m. ET.

The American side is 7-1-1 in the nine-event history of the President's Cup with the only win for the Internationals coming in 1998 at Royal Melbourne Golf Club (20 1/2 to 11 1/2).
