Gambling film "Runner Runner" panned by critics

Early reviews are trickling in for the new film "Runner Runner" and early indications are that it's...not particularly good.

If you are not familiar with this Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake collaboration, here is the plot synopsis courtesy of Rotten Tomatoes (if you haven't stopped reading at 'Timberlake'):

So it does have, at the very least, an intriguing plot line.

The film is directed by Brad Furman, who was behind the excellent effort "The Lincoln Lawyer" (2011).

The problem, according the "critics", is the execution and a script that doesn't leave much suspense for the viewer. These issues, just a pair of examples, lead to the film's current rating of 23 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

But be the judge for yourselves! "Runner Runner" opens nation wide on Oct. 4.

Yeah, because all offshore bookies welcome punks into their domain with open arms.In real life Richie would have been found dead in Sabana Lake. More fiction along the lines of " Lay the Favorite ".
