Johnny Manziel's summer of discontent continues

Johnny Football is grabbing headlines again.

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel was at Nicholls State University to participate in the Manning Passing Academy on the weekend but was dismissed a little earlier than scheduled.

NESN.com
is reporting that Manziel had a late night Friday and therefore showed up late to the camp Saturday morning and was given the pink slip from Manning patriarch Archie.

From NESN:

Contrary to the rumors that flooded the internet, representatives of the Manning Passing Academy were quick to dismiss those.

From ESPN:

Manziel has had a somewhat busy offseason which has already included a tirade via his Twitter account which expressed his desire to leave College Station.

The LVH has listed the Aggies 12-1 to win the BCS National Championship game and Bet365 has Manziel as the +500 fave to win the Heisman Trophy. Should he win the Heisman, he would be the first to win back-to-back Heisman Trophies since Ohio State's Archie Griffin in 1974 and 1975.
