1* Colorado (4:10 ET): I went w/ the Rockies in this space yday & will come right back w/ them again as the Twins are in a tough spot this weekend at Coors Field. They lose the DH because its an NL park, which means they are unlikely to contend w/ a Colorado offense that averages 5.9 rpg here at home while batting a collective .312. After struggling for so long, it appears as if the Rockies are starting to get it together. They come into Saturday on a three-game win streak.
Minnesota's starter Kevin Correia has an 0-3 TSR his L3 starts. Not that he's pitched badly mind you; the offense just hasn't scored for him in two straight outings. But for the year, he is just 4-11 and the Twins have lost 13 of his 18 starts. Correia is likely to have trouble with a Rockies lineup that is averaging 9.0 rpg while batting .412 its L4 home games against A.L. pitching.
Colorado has Carlos Gonzales back in the lineup, which is huge. They went 11-24 in his absence. Rookie Tyler Matzek has not won in five starts, but his luck is due to change here as the offfense has scored six runs in B2B games. The Rockies are now 39-20 this year as ML favorites. 1* Colorado.
