Tech ban: Google Glass forbidden in casinos

Remember when cell phones were outlawed while gambling at casinos? Well, Google's new device, Google Glass, is following suit.

For those that don't know, Google Glass is essentially a computer you wear like you would eye glasses. The cutting edge product will allow the user to, among other things, take photos, shoot video, and access the internet, which would be the prime reasons that a venue like Caesars Palace will not allow the technology through the door, according to tech site ubergizmo.com.

“Nevada gaming regulations (and those in other states, as well) prohibit the use of computers or recording devices when gambling," a Caesar's Palace spokesperson told The Verve. "As a result, we cannot allow guests who are gambling to wear Google Glass.”
