NFL Draft odds: Kiper favored over McShay and other props

The 2013 NFL Draft begins Thursday night and will wrap up on Saturday. Here is a look at some props for the draft:

Offensive players drafted in Round 1

There were 15 offensive players selected in the first round of the 2012 draft.

Defensive Players drafted in Round 1

Both Mel Kiper and Todd McShay of ESPN have 18 defensive players going in the first round of their mock drafts.

There were four wide receivers selected in the first round of last year's draft.

Most mock drafts have Te'o going between the 20th pick and the 25th pick.

Matt Barkley - Draft Position

The USC quarterback is a draft day wild card. Some experts believe that Barkley could be a high first round pick. Some project him in Round 3.

The report of Mathieu failing at least 10 drug tests could potentially scare off teams and certainly won't help his draft stock.

Hayden is ranked 24th overall and fourth in among cornerbacks in this year's draft class, according to cbssports.com.

Menelik Watson - Draft Round

1st round -188
2nd round or later +138

Watson is the No. 5 offensive tackle available and 22nd overall in the 2013 draft class, according to cbssports.com.

Tavon Austin - Draft Position

Nate Davis of USA Today Sports projects Austin going sixth overall to the Minnesota Vikings after trading up with the Cleveland Browns. He also has Austin as the first wide receiver selected.

Marcus Lattimore - Draft Position

The South Carolina running back is ranked 138 overall and 10th overall at his position, according to cbssports.com.

Mel Kiper of ESPN has projected that six defensive backs will be taken in the first round.

Ogletree had 112 tackles in 10 games for the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2012 season. Te'o had 111 in 13 games for Notre Dame. Todd McShay of ESPN has Ogletree going at No. 20 and Te'o going at No. 25.
