Kenseth's crew chief suspended, Richmond odds hold

Jason Ratcliff, the crew chief of Matt Kenseth's No. 20 car, has been suspended for six races following a failed engine inspection.

NASCAR made the announcement Wednesday, just days after Kenseth won Sunday's STP 400 Sprint Cup race at Kansas Speedway.

Kenseth is listed as 7-1 to win the Toyota Owners 400 Saturday. He has moved down to +1,000 to win the Sprint Cup Championship outright. Jeff Sherman, assistant manager at the LVH Superbook in Las Vegas, says they haven't made any adjustments to Kenseth's odds for this weekend's race due to Ratcliff's suspension.

NASCAR also docked Kenseth 50 driver's points. The driver will move down from eighth place in the driver's standings to tied for 14th with Jeff Gordon at 202 points.

The car will also be ineligible to earn owner's points over the next six races as the owner's license has also been suspended.
