Raiders acquire QB Matt Flynn from Seattle; odds stay put

Seahawks backup quarterback Matt Flynn has been traded to the Oakland Raiders, but don't expect any earth shattering line moves.

"Flynn is going to have to prove himself for the line to move," Michael Stewart, an oddsmaker for CarbonSports.ag, told Covers. "The guy has had one good game his entire career and was beat out by a rookie for the starting job last year in Seattle."

Oakland is one of the biggest underdogs to win Super Bowl XLVIII. The Raiders are currently +20000 at Carbon Sports, +18000 at Pinnacle, +12500 at Bet365 and Sports Interaction and +10000 at William Hill.

Oakland is +7500 to win the AFC in 2013 at Sports Interaction and Carbon Sports and +5000 at Bet365.

Flynn's best performance in the NFL came in Week 17 of the 2011 season when he was with the Green Bay Packers. He threw six touchdowns against Detroit, starting for Aaron Rodgers, who was being rested to avoid injury before the playoffs. Flynn was traded to Seattle in the 2012 offseason but lost the starting job to Russell Wilson.
