Ravens or 49ers?
Don't know who to wager on in Super Bowl XLVII? So many of life's decision are based on pretty girls, why not your Big Game bet? Tell us which team - Ravens or 49ers - has the hottest cheerleaders.
Fun fact about the Baltimore Ravens cheerleading squad - it's co-ed. There are a few lucky guys, doing flips and stunts, that get to hang out with the dance team while having the best seats in the house to NFL action. Can someone say "Best job ever"?
The San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush Cheerleaders have been around since 1983 and consist of 32 professional dancers.
Both squads have their famous alumni. Baltimore's most famous former cheerleader is retired wrestling diva and current girlfriend of George Clooney - Stacy Keibler. As for the Niners, Desperate Housewives star and one-time Lois Lane, Teri Hatcher, is a past member of the Gold Rush.
While the Super Bowl is a neutral-site game, you may grade these cheer squads based on their impact on the team's home record. Baltimore was 6-2 SU but just 3-5 ATS as a host while San Fran put together a 6-1-1 SU record at home, going 4-4 ATS in those games.
The Ravens cheer squad is making news heading into the Super Bowl. A petition was filed to send Ravens veteran cheerleader Courtney L to New Orleans after she was left off the Super Bowl roster. Apparently, Courtney announced her retirement at the end of the season and it didn't sit well with the squad's director.
Before reforming the cheer squad in the late 70's, the 49ers' former sideline candy was dubbed the "Niners Nuggets". This group didn't just dance and work the slobs in the stands into a sweaty lather. They sang as well.
So, which side has the hottest cheerleaders - Baltimore or San Francisco? Let us know and enjoy all the betting action for Super Bowl XLVII.

"RAVEN CHEERLEADERS ARE THE BOMB!!"
Ben Burns performance in August was nothing short of JAW DROPPING. He capped an INSANE 72-30-2 month with an 8-1 weekend (6-0 Saturday Sweep)! When all was said and done, Burns made his clients over $30K (nearly $1,000 per day!).
He's now finished "in the black" seven of the past eight months. Expect more of the same in September. Get on board.
I'm playing on the LOS ANGELES. This is the marquee series of the week and a potential NLCS preview with the Dodgers hosting Washington. I like the home team to take Monday's series opener.
I played against the Nationals yesterday as they lost up in Seattle. They'd previously won 14 of 18 games, but there were several close calls in there and they have come back down to Earth since winning 10 in a row, which included seven one-run victories. They were actually swept in Philadelphia last week.
The Dodgers, meanwhile, avoided what would have been a sweep with a win in San Diego yesterday. Both of their losses in the series came by one run, each in extra innings. So it looks like maybe the "luck" is going to turn for both teams in the interim. I like that Los Angeles is coming off a solid offensive performance as well, scoring 7 runs in the win Sunday.
Also making the case against Washington tonight is the fact their starter Gio Gonzalez has not won in some time, July 5th in fact. He's 0-5 (3-6 TSR) with a 4.38 ERA in nine starts since.
Roberto Hernandez has been surprisingly solid for LA in four starts since being traded from Philadelphia. Also, in his final start as a member of the Phillies, he faced Washington and allowed just one unearned run in eight innings. He's made eight straight starts without giving up more than three runs. 1* free play.
