Pens, Rangers favored in 2013 Stanley Cup odds

Much to the relief of puck bettors and fans, the NHL has reached a tentative 10-year CBA agreement with the NHLPA. The league's board of governors will convene in New York City on Wednesday for a final vote on the deal. In the meantime, let's take a look at the complete futures odds to win the Stanley Cup.

Odds from William Hill.

Detroit 16/1 possesses the only realistic value on the board, think about it.......NY Rangers 8/1 (a total trap future) Boston 16/1 (equal to Detroit?) and why may I ask 'William Hill' ; is the New Jersey Devils at 25/1 when for reasons unknown, they are 160/1 "everywhere else" Word has it (Hockey-Giude13) the players are generally "out of shape" and could care less in regards to the 12/13 upcoming season. the motivation factor connected to competitive conditioning is seen as non-existent, according to sources close to the players (Hockey Night in Canada) expect nothing from the NHL this season, the coveted "Stanley Cup" will be noted with a * ASTERIK
