UFC fighter Jeremy Stephens was arrested early Friday morning by Minneapolis Police, just hours before his scheduled fight.
The lightweight, who is still listed as a -245 favorite on sportsbook.ag, is scheduled to square off against Yves Edwards around 5 p.m. ET in a preliminary bout ahead of the UFC on FX 5 event at the Target Center.
Stephens was arrested in connection with an outstanding warrant from out of state and he’s being held without bail, according to
MMAWeekly.com. His status remains uncertain for the bout, although a few
media outlets are reporting the undercard fight will proceed as scheduled.
