The Minnesota Twins have won just two of their past 16 games and if you're looking for signs for things to improve, you're going to have to look hard.
Besides the fact the Twins are just playing miserable baseball, they are a tired ball club right now. They have played 16 games over the last 17 days and will play another 11 before they get a day off. Seven of those will be on the road and all that after completing a nine-game western road trip Sunday in Texas.
The betting math is simple when you add it all up during the 2-14 slump because the Twins were underdogs in every game. The $100-per-game bettor would have lost a total of $1,105. But, as every sports bettor knows, a consistent loser can be just as good as a consistent winner.
