Injury that shouldn’t be overlooked

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick lasted just six plays and then required X-rays on his ribs after being knocked down by Patriots linebacker Jermaine Cunningham on Monday night. The tests were negative, but keep in mind that Vick has missed three games with rib injuries in each of the last two seasons. The Eagles pivot was also forced to leave early in the club's preseason opener with a thumb injury.
