Two huge underdog wins on Sunday caused big ripples in Olympic futures betting for the men's soccer competition in London.
Senegal beat Uruguay 2-0 as a +355 dog and Honduras toppled Spain 1-0 at +455 in what will likely be the biggest shocker of the tournament. The loss for Spain - who was the second favorite to win gold entering the Games at +240 - sent the team packing early from London. The Spanish side failed to gain a point in either of its first two matches so far.
As a result, Brazil has moved from a +175 favorite where it was set before the competition to a huge -188 favorite to win gold. Great Britain is now the second favorite to win gold though their odds haven't changed from +800 pre-tourney.
Senegal and Honduras were set at +5000 and +20000 before the Games began and their odds have now adjusted considerably.
Men's action resumes on Wednesday with a huge game between Team GB and Uruguay, who are fighting to advance from Group A. Britain and Senegal are currently tied atop Group A with four points apiece while Uruguay has three points through two matches. ODDS TO WIN GOLD
