Wimbledon Day 2 preview and advantages

After going 2-0 to go up 1.32 units on Day 1, here's a look at a couple of key Day 2, first round matches for Tuesday at Wimbledon:

Svetlana Kuznetsova -160 vs. Yanina Wickmayer +125

Wickmayer is 1-2 in three career meetings with Kuznetsova but all three matches went three sets. The most recent was last year at Wimbledon in the Round of 32 when the Belgian beat the Russion 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Kuznetsova is the bigger name and is the more experienced but she only ranks one spot higher (35th) than Wickmayer (36th).

Advantage: Wickmayer

Kevin Anderson +100 vs. Grigor Dimitrov -145

These two met last week at the Wimby warmup at Queen's Club when Dimitrov won 4-6, 6-4, 6-3. Anderson is a 6-foot-8 giant with a big serve and whipped up 15 aces to the Bulgarian's seven in that quarterfinal match. Dimitrov also completed 6-of-9 break points compared to Dimitrov's 1-of-2 so the stats were on his side - except for the only one that matters.

Anderson is 1-2 versus Dimitrov in ATP big circuit matches but the lone win came in San Jose earlier this year in a 3-set match with very similar statistics. This one could go either way but Dimitrov has won both meetings on grass.

Advantage: Dimitrov
