Yankees' extra-inning win makes another Streak Survivor $1,000 richer

The New York Yankees' thrilling 14-inning win over the Washington Nationals Saturday has made another Covers Streak Survivor contestant $1,000 richer.

Covers user MCorwin extended his winning streak to 17 straight thanks to the Yankees’ extra-inning dramatics. Mark Teixeira doubled in two runs in the top of the 14th inning as visiting New York outlasted Washington to pick up its eighth straight win.

MCorwin is the third Streak Survivor contestant to hit the 17-win mark and win the $1,000 cash prize in the past two days. SkipspikS and navydiver2 are currently sitting at 17 wins each with pending picks in their pursuit of win No. 21 - which is worth $25,000 - and win No. 25 - which is worth a $100,000 Grand Prize.

Follow all the action and the picks on the Streak Survivor leaderboard or start an incredible run of your own. Who knows? You could end up $100,000 richer.
