Heat avoid late letdown, now NBA Finals favorites

The Miami Heat avoided back-to-back second-half implosions and hung on to defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder, 100-96, in Game 2 of the NBA Finals Thursday, tying the series at 1-1.

That victory, and the fact the series is swinging to South Beach for the next three games, has the Heat priced as -114 favorites to win the NBA title, after opening the series as high as +149 underdogs.

Oklahoma City, which won Game 1, 105-94, in comeback fashion, opened the series as a -130 favorite and is now set at -105 to win the finals.

Miami is a 4-point home favorite for Game 3 Sunday night. Some offshore markets have been bet down to -3.5. The total opened at 194 points. Game 2 pushed with the 196-point number while Game 1 played over the total.

^.....lol. I never understood the 2-3-2 thing anyway. Seems like a disadvantage for having the best record, which you work your butt off all year for.
