Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was knocked from Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs with what coach Mike Tomlin called a "concussion-oriented" head injury.

Roethlisberger took a knee to the helmet from Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson on a scramble in overtime. He was replaced by Charlie Batch.

After the game, Tomlin said he did not know the severity of the injury or whether Roethlisberger will be available for next week's game at Baltimore. No line has been posted.

Roethlisberger was 32-of-42 for 398 yards, three TDs and two interceptions. Batch was 1-of-2 for 17 yards, the first passes he has thrown this season.

The Steelers (6-4) have lost two in a row - failing to cover in both - following a five-game winning streak.
