The faves had another good Sunday. Teams giving points went 8-3-1 against the spread yesterday improving their mark to 41-28-1 over the last five weeks.

The division between the cellar dwellers and the cream of the crop was just as pronounced too. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and St. Louis Rams both dropped to 0-7 straight up and are now a collective 3-11 against the number.

On the other side of the gun, the Indianapolis Colts improved to 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS while the New Orleans Saints are one step better at 6-0 SU and ATS.

The Minnesota Vikings were in great position to remain part of the exclusive unbeaten club, but two turnovers returned for touchdowns cost them a shot at 7-0. Minny will go into Green Bay on Sunday with a 6-1 record, but a less convincing mark (4-3) against the number.

The New Giants didn’t have a good day either. After beating up on the little sisters of the league, the G-Men have fallen twice in a row to legitimate competition. The Arizona Cardinals left the Meadowlands with at 24-17 victory, easily covering as 9-point dogs.

Maybe the worst performance of Sunday belonged to the Carolina Panthers. Practically the same club that went 12-4 a year ago is now 2-4 and 1-5 ATS after losing at home to the sad-sack Buffalo Bills.

Quarterback Jake Delhomme threw another three picks pushing his season total to 13 compared to just four touchdowns. Can someone please find a clipboard for this guy to hold?

Just keep betting against this bunch.... Tease against them too for the rest of the year..

How pathetic are these teams , four are home doggies.... that can,t compete,,, they shouldn't be in the leauge.

Houston scored 24 points Sunday , more than the grand total of these 5 dogs put together.

Just a couple corrections: The Panthers were 12-4 last year, not 13-3. And Jake has four touchdowns, not interceptions.
