Los Angeles Angels at New York Yankees

Yankees lead series 3-2

Line/total: We opened Yanks -175 and the total at 9.5 under -120. We now have the  Yanks -178 and total remains 9.5 under -120.

What the book is rooting for: Angels and the under. Eight-four percent backing Yanks on side and 65 percent of total action behind the over.

Comments: The rainout yesterday was an advantage for the Angels because they now have more rested pitchers, but it also created an advantage for bookmakers.

After we cancelled bets on Saturday's rainout, we opened up Sunday's makeup game with a total of 9.5 under -120, moving the number from 9 over -115. Almost 70 percent of total action was over 9, so we figured moving up to 9.5 under -120 made sense.

Angels' Joe Saunders (16-7, 4.60 ERA) put in a good effort in last Saturday's 13-inning thriller (Game 2), tossing seven innings of two-run ball.

New York's Andy Pettitte wasn't his normal playoff self in Game 3, giving up two home runs, but he did just allow three runs in a little over six innings of work. Pettitte did struggle against the Angels in his one home start against them, allowing five earned runs in 5 2-3 innings.

Is Mark Teixeira going to break out of his postseason slump anytime soon? Teixera actually has a lower batting average in the ALCS (.111) than he did in the ALDS (.167) against Minnesota. Teixeira has struggled mightily lifetime against Saunders, only picking up two hits in 16 at bats.

Prop of Game: Andy Pettitte (Yankees) Total strikeouts+walks: 6 over-130
