Tennis star Roger Federer is now the father of twin girls. His wife Mirka gave birth in Switzerland Thursday night. The girls, the couple’s first children, were named Charlene Riva and Myla Rose.
“This is the greatest day of our lives,” the 15-time Grand Slam winner said on his website.
The world's No. 1 is the heavy favorite to win the upcoming U.S. Open this September. Federer’s nemesis Rafael Nadal, who sat out Wimbledon with a knee injury, has said he will participate in the final Grand Slam tournament of the tennis season.
