The public is going against the favorites this weekend, with four dogs getting lots of attention from NFL bettors.
Kansas City, New Orleans, Green Bay, and the New York Giants are all receiving the majority of the action heading into their respective Week 10 tilts, according to Sportingbet.com oddsmaker David Main.
Kansas City, the biggest dog on the Week 10 board, is getting 59 percent of bets placed on its game against the Chargers.
“It seems the public is surprised by the pointspread (KC +15) and happy to take the points against the Chargers,” said Main.
The Giants are 3-point road dogs against NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday (8:15 pm ET, NBC), but are gathering more than 73 percent of the action.
“The Giants are once again very popular, especially after the way they dismantled the Cowboys last week,” said Main.
The Packers are 1.5-point underdogs against NFC North rivals Minnesota Vikings, who have won three of their past five. Green Bay is getting 69 percent of wagers on the game (1 pm ET, FOX).
The Saints are 1-point dogs heading into Atlanta to face the Falcons, but are getting 72 percent of the bets.
Other popular picks this week at Sportingbet.com include Miami (8-point home faves against Seattle) getting 66 percent of bets, and the Titans (3-point road faves against the Bears) getting 64 percent.
