the all-star break is the best time to actually judge a team..gives them a lot of time to perform.. |

Firstly, teams in NFC West are getting better, well, all excepting the RAms.
Niners are now title contender, Arizona is getting better, they finished last season strong with 6-2 and they should be solid no matter who starts ay QB (Kolb or Skelton). Seattle is not so much better, but at least they will not have Tarvaris Jackson under center. Besides it is never easy to win in Seattle. To sum up, I don't see Rams doing better than 2-6 in divisional games, 1-7 is being more realistic even. Rams have tough start of the season. They play first against Lions in Detroit, then against Redskins at home (they will not be favs imo) and then away in Chicago. Later, apart from divisional games, they have to play PAckers nad Patriots. The main problem is that they are weak. They finished last season 2-14. They hired Jeff Fisher who is solid coach for bad teams, but I don't see much of improvement coming. Sam Bradford had serious injury last year. He played worse than in his rookie season. He is question mark, but I don't expect him to shine. He has terrible offensive line that allowed most sakcs in the league. This is not expected to get much better. His receivers corps is not much better, if it is better at all. I expect this offense to struggle big time through the season. The defense is more solid, but they will have to spend lot of time on the field. Special teams are below average, Rams will have to rely on rookies as kicker and punter. Jeff Fisher might have positive impact on Rams in long run. But this season should be another dissapointment. I think they should not win more than 4 games, 6 games is a LOT for this team (and this gives push), 7 wins is Mount Everest to climb for them. |

for the tigers...i think they got batting power and theyre set defensively..i just think if they really want to make it they should just change the management..last season, i had high hopes for them..even during the world series..everyone knew that SF are the favorites but being swept? thats not actually a good thing..theyre a great team just need an overhaul..just my 2 cents.

Im gonna go with Japan this year again...even without ichiro or darvish...they still are pretty much set when it comes to firepower..and when it comes to pitching..they have depth and all around closers..

Gridironguy Super Bowl pick (4 - 0 - 1 ATS posted Divisional & Championship wknds)
in NFL Betting with a field goal and a half advantage, the niners should be the favorite. although the ravens have the ability to produce an upset just like what they did against the broncos and pats. they sure do have a lot to bring to the table. Flacco is really producing right now also with Kaepernick. Its going to be a tight game for sure..but ill go with the ravens on this one because of ray rice's legs and ray lewis' back. currently on SBOBET..niners -3.5 (47.50) |

My first impression on this game. Ravens haven't faced an offense similar to this one since week 3 I think when they played Washington. If Kaepernick is contained on the ground I think Baltimore takes this. San Fran has a great D, but no shutdown corners like Aqib Talib who took away the Boldin long pass from Flacco last week in the 1st half. Flacco's game improved once Smith and Boldin started getting free all over the place. (which by the way happened in Denver where Champ Bailey played very bad) So if Carlos Rodgers and Culliver could even remotely take Boldin and Smith out of the game I would bet San Fran in a heartbeat. Right now not so sure.

Ray Lewis will decide not to retire and try again for the superbowl next year.

SF and Raves for the superbowl...keopernick will definitely try to prove himself as a new kind of quarterback..flacco also wants to be included in the top quarterback list. both have high quality running games..and the raven defense is the raven defense..
