Who do you consider the most consistent streak survivor contestants???
in Streak Survivor @MrPoopyButthole @MoVal88 I had an active streak of 6 and missed the deadline due to family commitments and thinking I had an extra day to make a pick. It sucked but it wasn't the end of the world. I then picked 6 more winners in a row before losing a game so I would have had a 12 game streak had I not missed that deadline. Not a big deal, only a 17+ streak matters to me anyway. I've never lost a streak of 14 or 15 from not making a pick. Yes, someone started a thread about me because they noticed I was 21-1 over a 6 month span where the one loss was the missed extra point in the Superbowl. |

FWIW I'm 31-4-1 (88.57%) since Sept 30 of last year when I started to be very selective. 891-824 overall (51.95%), high streak of 14. |

@GypsyCowboy Thanks for the props. Goofed last night by missing the deadline, I often pick on Sundays and was was torn between the Warriors covering or the under and totally forgot I had picked a hockey game last Saturday, not Sunday. Should have locked in that pick a day earlier, but started a new streak with that under tonight. 21-1-1 and the loss was the Rams missing an extra point in the Superbowl. That was a tough one, I didn't make a pick for nearly 2 months after that one lol.

This IS a great contest, the 100 wins needed will make sure that it's not just a hot streak that wins it. I was just commenting on the great start for this person. 70% over the long haul should take it.

What a start, especially when you consider that this person has a 49.96% record in wagerline league play this year, losing -101770 units and is ranked 29402 of 30080 people.
I guess they were saving the REAL handicapping for this contest? Unbelievable start. Every time I play a contest like this somebody comes out 18-1 or 25-2 and just kills your will to keep playing.

I'm a little late but Falcon Oil and Gas is my pick. It's FO.V on the TSX Venture in Canada and FOLGF.PK for those that would like to buy in the States.
They are a natural gas driller in Hungary and are flow testing the motherload of nat gas in that area. They could have from 25 trillion cubic feet to over 100 tcf. It's deep unconventional gas so the stock is cheap because people aren't certain that it's economically recoverable, but the gas is there and Hungary needs it.
Closed at $2.63/shares CAD on the TSXV on Friday. I have all the technical signals I needed to get in large at $2.50 CAD. This has the chance to be a 10 bagger this year.
Good luck guys.

Eli is now 3-9 ATS (career) on the road against .500+ home teams. That one win this year was the victory they pulled out of their asses in Philly.
The Dolphins were a WAY more effective team with the likes of Gus Frerotte and Jay Fiedler at QB. I guess some of us expected Fumblepepper to at least be more successful than those guys. I wasn't expecting him to throw like Marino or anything but this guy is making me wonder how much worse Joey Harrington could be.

The Dolphins are a joke, Culpepper is officially a bust. 13-10 at home against Kerry Collins and the Titans? I'd shoot myself in the head if I was Saban. I don't think these guys will win more than 6 games.
The Colts officially have an achilles heel (besides the playoffs), they can't run the ball.
Detroit should never, ever be a 7 point fav against anyone. Correct that, they should never be any kind of fav against anyone.
I love the scrappy Jets, and I'll be taking them with the points again next week.
I think Pitt has lost too many key players and has become a 2nd tier team. Still a good team but too many assclowns to be a contender this year. Cowher looks like he's rather be fishing than coaching.
I said last week that Baltimore was over-rated, they proved it today. Kudos to the Browns for covering.
Fading Eli and the Giants on the road is still money.
Arizona is still a piece of shit team, I said it last week and they also confirmed it today. On the flip side, I like this year's version of the Rams - decent D with a healthy Bulger makes these guys a good bet against the middle-of-the-road and shitty teams. Sort of a dark-horse team that doesn't get much respect, probably because the Mike Martz stink hasn't worn off yet.
Denver is starting to wake up, it took them a game last year, two games this year but they are a solid team on both sides of the ball. The running game looked good tonight and Shanahan got exactly what he wanted out of Plummer. I think I can start betting on these guys again.
Tom Brady needs some wide receivers, at least get the guy somebody to replace Branch. Like Pittsburgh, I think the Pats are slipping towards the middle of the pack.
I'm still not impressed by the Bengals but looking at that candyass schedule of theirs they are going to win a lot of games this year. Playoffs will be a different story.

Pre-game greetings between the Pistons and Brown:
"Welcome back Larry, nice to see ya, sorry that we're gonna have to kick your fuckin' teeth in tonight"

As for Marbury, he'll be wearing a barrel and one shoe by the time Billups gets done schooling him!

Anybody see Marbury trip over mid-court tonight and lose the ball on the over-and-back call? Nobody came close to laying a finger on him! That is without a doubt, dumping the game "the right way"
