it will have to be a game of possession for the patriots to win. Seattle did exactly what they had to against atlanta a nice 9 minute opening scoring drive. Heres the problem, atlanta gets the ball too. in the past, super bowls have been won with the better defense for sure, and i do agree that brady is the goat, hes been a favorite player of mine for a long time. But, heres the facts the new england defense is slightly above average, atlanta defense is just playing well right now. I understnad the arguements i just think all around atlanta has the better team. with gronk this is a different game but hes not here. I think this is going to be one awesome superbowl and atlanta is going to shock the world again.

I'll ask you the same question, where you busy or just not paying attention (like everyone else) the fact that Atlanta shut out Rodgers the first half and it was 30-0 before pack even scored? Or that Atlanta shut down Seattle also? The same Seattle that went to foxborough and put up 31 and won? Every week Atlanta can't win for this or that reason according To everyone, yet they continue to not just win but dominate. Same story here, everyone loading on pats -3 assuming no chance of Atlanta winning yet the line hasn't moved. Books will make everything they lost through playoffs and then some from all of the pats riders. The line will more than likely move but in my opinion atl and points is golden. |

Yes you are correct, however I look into a lot and was posting what I found and thought was worth sharing. When bell went out of the game it became really easy to shut pitt down. The patriots are good at taking out the best option so when all they had to worry about was Antonio the job wasn't that hard. They will cover Julio and I'm sure butler will follow him all game which also accounts for butler for Atlanta. Atlanta has much more fire power on offense, two straight weeks in playoffs 4 different people have tds for Atlanta . Too many weapons, if Matt Ryan doesn't crack the defense only needs a few stops and Atlanta wins. That also being said, I think Brady is the Goat, hard to go against him but for me Atlanta wins. |

Good morning all
taking a look at the new england defense since week 9 as i did on the previous post on atlanta since week 9 here are a list of qbs that they faced Russel wilson - scored 31 in foxborogh and won kaepernick 90.7 fitzpatrick 69.6 Goff 63.6 Flacco 83.5 Bryce petty 60.0 matt moore 105.6 osweiler 72.2 The pats do have a high ranking defense, but they will have their hands full with matt ryan as he does not fit into the qb group listed above whatsoever. since week 9 matt ryan has 3038 yards, 26 tds, and an average qbr of 120.0 Good luck all |

That being said I think the patriots are going to have an equal battle in stopping Atlanta. The patriots haven't really faced anything tough this year and definitely nothing like what Atlanta will bring. They shut the steelers down but that became really easy when bell left the game. |

Is the falcon defense as bad as everyone says it is? I went digging and found something noteworthy
Since week 9 Tampa- allowed 14 points going into 4th quarter philly- allowed 10 points going into 4th cardinals- 13 points going into 4th rams- scoreless 3 quarters, scored 14 in 4th 49rs- 13 points going into 4th panthers- 13 points going into 4th saints- 13 points going into 4th fast forward Playoffs seattle- 13 points going into 4th packers- 15 points going into 4th, first half shut out one can argue the schedule but they can only play the team in front of them, the defensive stats for atlanta are misleading in that pattern shown above, they are up so big at that point in the game. just some food for thought
