Currently at 52-15-2 at five point teaser picks, last week I started at six point plays. I was at just over 75% last week. I hope to get back up there this week. Numbers off the Bill Hill board as of 10/18 21:53, (-6 points) 1.WYO -.5 Pokes should win by 10+ 2.Ball st -14 fading WMICH 3.BYU -3.5 first real team HOU plays 4.Buffalo -13.5 Bulls will gore MASS 5.Duke +9 Cavs win by 10? no way 6.Clem +8.5 Boyd should keep it close, either way. 7.Mich st -21.5 regular side is borderline and smells funny but I don't believe Purdue scores over ten points. 8. KC-.5 Rookie HOU QB taking his first snap in the NFL against the top pass rush in the league? 9. SF+1.5 I am a homer plus I don't see anything about TENN thats says they can win this game 10 NE +1.5 lets see Brady against Geno,, really? 11. CAR-.5 Taking a chance here. |

Currently at 45-11-2 above the 75% that I think teaser capping should be. Lines from Bill Hill boards and now at six points, since that seems to be the standard. I am also playing these picks on a regular side/total parlay. Only the teaser lines apply to my record. 1 .Baylor -11.5 very impressive how they blasted WV last week. 2. Boise st. -1.5 Ut.st without Keeton is just an average MW team. I thought they would be catching at least 13 pts. 3. Nebraska -8 I think Armstrong is the answer for the Huskers. 4. Neb-Purd over 51.5 I think Neb should put up at least high thirties and Purd at least mid-teens. 5. Oregon st-Wash st over 57.5 Ore st can score on almost anyone but can't stop anyone. Wash st will score but historically struggles with the Beav's. 6, BYU-1 I just can't see GT winning up there. 7. KC-2.5 8. Hou-1.5 Schaub to bounce back at least for this week against Lambs 9.Den-21.5 why not? everyone else is taking them. 10. SF-5.5 a homer call plus fading Palmer 11. NO+8.5 I figure them to win SU and a good futures potential team. |

DEN -1.5 5.SD +1.5 hope I hit at least nine to stay over 75%, |

Of course I hedged NYG. I will collect a nice sum either way. Going 6-0 I am now 33-8-2 which puts me over the 75% level. I will try to maintain this level at least until the end of football season. 36-9-2 to date on my five point teaser plays. scored one large from Bill Hill on a five pick regular side/total parlay card on forty bucks at 26 to 1. lost a hundred bucks on the hedge bet. Maryland always has talent but they only rise to upper mid-major level when they get good skill players. This year I believe they will dominate the lesser level schools and hold their own against most schools. This may be the last soft line you see on MD. I think the same for Washington State who historically have run up the score on lesser foes. Same with Minnesota. No reason why Michigan shouldn't blast Akron. And Northwestern could cover the over by themselves. But I would take over the total as a safer bet than the side. No look-aheads for any of these teams. So you have 1. MD-1.5 2. MINN-19 3. WASH st.-17 MICH-32 and 4. NWSTN-WMICH over 53.5 These are five point teaser plays but I went ahead and played these picks as a five team parlay just for fun. For the pros I like 1. GB-2 2. KC+3.5 3. CHI-.5 4. CINC-1.5 Only teaser plays recorded. currently 12-4-2 Good luck |

Going to add more picks this week, as always regular sides and totals I don't count in my official win loss record. 1. LSU-29 2. Ark st +16 3. Louisville -37 4. Maryland -14 no look-aheads to worry about. 1.Tampa Bay +1.5 Fading bonehead GENO 2 K.C +1. Alex is efficient with no pass rush 3. Indy -4.5 fading Pryor and general bonehead Raider team 4. SF +.5 Fudgepackers with no running game and only Rodgers not enough to beat the Niners. Just for fun I played Mia/fla +3, Oklahoma -20.5 SCarol +3.5, Mich-ND under 52 on regular sides and total. 7-2-1 on teaser plays from last week Good luck |

Off to a decent start GL So as I said earlier (8-29 post) I only count the 5 point teasers: Fla st Calgary Colo st Lou-Ohio ov Fla st-Pitt push, I am off to a 7-2-1 start, the tie being a push in the Fla st-Pitt game. Not too bad for the first week. I believe for a teaser capper the winning percentage should be at least 75%. I will strive to maintain that percentage all year long. Thanks for the shoutout AAY. I hope I can help you have a profitable season!

Finally here, lets have a great season, I closed up last year after the bowl season. Basketball was just too much to try to cap on a daily basis. I post mainly five point teaser plays. I will sometimes go with sides or totals but I won't count those on my weekly win loss records. I will combine NFL and college picks starting next week. For those who will tell me to go fork myself and call me a tout, go pound sand. For those who might consider my picks as a way to win, good luck. Last year starting mid season I was 42-12-2 check my space for documentation. 1. I like Utah st +8 2. NILL +8 3.BYU -3 1/2 4. NWSTN -1 5. Fla st -5 6. Colo st +3 I'm also going to play these teams as a small parlay just for fun! I'm also going to play a long shot parlay adding Calgary (CFL) and Seattle (WNBA). The Peppermill and Cal Neva are the places I make my wagers.

making the transition to hoops unless you limit yourself to your region and play only the teams and conferences you follow at this point of the season you still have to go with ratings systems from sites that preview teams and conferences like sagarin. (And others). I have been doing that and my last few days have been dry runs that are looking consistent enough to go ahead and start posting, today is a light day in college so I will start slow. My record in football with NFL and college combined this season is 49-12-2. I deal in six point teaser plays in football and five points in basketball. All my picks will be teaser plays although if I see a solid regular side or total I'll offer it as a lean. I have used a betting strategy of two to three team teaser parlays in football and I will continue the same in basketball 2 play 5pt teaser parlay 10/13 3play 5pt teaser parlay 3/2 4 play 5pt teaser parlay 5/2 Xavier -6 basically fading Vandy Syracuse -15.5 same with Niner's San Diego st -10 this could be a solid regular side Heat -2.5 with Anthony questionable this game is worth adding if your book hasn't taken it off the board. GL! |

How about 6 point teaser plays? Can you make money playing two or three team teaser parlays instead of regular side/total single straight bets? What winning percentage would be acceptable? 80+ percent? https://teaserking.blogspot.com/ 49-12-2 since 10/10/2012 (documented on renorunner2's space) |

Ravens -1.5 With Big Ben (out) this should be a given.DAMN those Ravens! I'll won't bet on those dipsticks again, NEVERMORE Anyone who's done this long enough knows there are certain games on any given week that seem too easy. And the line should have been closer to ten or over. This is the game thats going to bust your solid lock or promising parlay. Am I claiming fix? Not really. Is it possible there may be some results scripting going on? Lets just say over the years I've seen too many curious things happen in sports wagering (all sports) to never say never. Would the NFL prefer the AFC North division race to be over at this point in the season? Of course not. Anyone who says 'impossible' is living in fantasy land. In the real world anything is possible. Whether in business or politics or every day life the rational capper must consider all possibilities, even if the're not probabilites. I'm afraid to disagree with you-I don't want to get whacked |

I don't think so Redskins +9 Taking a shot here (pending) 45-11-2 As always these are six point teaser plays. Going into tommorrow, might as well throw in Packers if you can get it at -3 or under, if you can get the Broncos at less than nine go for it. I have GB -2.5 and DEN-1 I would lay off anything over those lines. GL I meant Broncos less than three, sorry! Currently 48-12-2 waiting on WASH +9 tonite! |

Bob Costas has always been a twirpish weanie type who was able to work himself into the sports world as an outside interviewer-commentator with a focus on human interest and social causes in relations to sports. No one takes him seriously as a front and center announcer Now this dipstick thinks he has the influence/authority to get on his pc platform and and tell us because there those out there that have a screw loose whether they play in the NFL or anywhere else, that we must all give up our second amendment rights, that we are all disfunctional train wrecks just waiting to happen and we must comply to what cutting edge progressive monitors like him believe..

Just my opinion, Gb is solid as I believe they will surely win, but the other plays I'm not so sure. In games where the outcome is uncertain, I don't consider them solid teaser plays. But you might nail all of them GL!
