I've also visited Vegas quite a few times over the year and actually under contract for a house there to bet on sports regularly. I have a ML betting system that works across all sports that I've backtested and is doing well so far this year. Currently #65 King of Covers YTD MLB. I have a good 20+ years of sports betting and knowledge. I'm a few hours from Deleware which is only other place in US you can legally bet NFL but minimum bet is a 3 team parlay and that's brutal. Imagine waiting on a final game for a significant win and having no way to hedge your bet. Whether this guy is a real or fake account and can appreciate the struggle of any sports bettor

Read the article and it offered some interesting info. I guess it just depends on your betting style. I'm just the type that hates straight bets unless I"m taking an underdog on the ML. I used to bet instincts and info, but I"ve combined that with a paid service that has really assisted me with making picks. Between my Sirius talk shows, Accuscore, Covers, and general stats - I feel more comfortable. I bet parlays because it's the way I learned to gamble and I usually only make small parlay wagers as opposed to a larger straight bet wager.
On average i bet 3 team round robins with 6 or 7 teams. After you get 3 or 4 teams that win with a round robin, your next winning team increases your winnings exponentially. In this case I would say you have to hedge on later teams, because you've already won house money and you're only guaranteeing more profit. |

I'm just curious about scenarios. I bet mostly parlays mostly and a lot of 3/4 team round robins where the profit potential is amazing if your teams are winning. I"ve fallen into situations where I'm waiting on the sun/mon night game to win parlays with hundreds of $$ on the line. Usually I'll have the underdog ML or point spread. Let's take a $1000 payoff on a monday night underdog +4, so say the fave is -200.
So my question is, if you know you can guarantee a certain amount of winnings, how much would you hedge or would you just ride it out win, lose or draw. |

But the funny thing is the unsure bets that we look for acton are usually the ones that come through. If I'm not sure about a bet, but I'm just looking for action, I"ll tend to parlay my underdog bets and see if they can hedge my favorites. After all, any bet can win. As long as I"m not betting both sides unless it's the last team I"m waiting for on a parlay for a nice payoff, all bets have the same chance of winning.

I've read people on the forum who make picks and state that they would have had this team favored or the line by this much. It would be helpful to list how cappers come up with these picks, do they subscribe to a paid pick/or info service, (if so, how much they pay) and the majority of their bet types.
For example, I subscribe to accuscore, which just started offering daily picks was mostly an info source for game predictions. I paid $400 for a yearly sub, that includes sims for all major sports. I would make by daily picks for point spread if they have a team with a simulated 59% or more winning pct. Same with O/U, but I would go as low as 55%. For ML bets, if the simulated winning percentage is higher than the actual break even pct, I would bet the ML on that game (ex MIA +300 ml, actual break even is 25% so sim would have to be higher than that). I mostly bet parlays for the big payday and straight bets to just try and get some money back. 2 team ML upset parlays can pay huge and with a lot of CBB games sometimes you need some guidance. This system has been mildly successful as I back it up with posts by strong cappers here and also look at current trends. I like to look st teams on streaks. If a team has won 7 in a row and is an underdog, I would favor them over the other team as a bet. I like to check ATS ytd for point spread, o/u, home/road dichotomy. |

Plus I only like to bet situations that give you a higher percentage of winning like underdogs and ML's that are higher than forecasts!

When I have the time I try to use a combo of factors and also look at their winning percentage in given situations. Ex 51% ats home team favored by1-3, 61% ats o/u 115 or less. For someone who doesn't really have the time to research a full SAT card, they come in handy, but I always bet wisely.

Hey gamers. Decided to start my own thread. I"ve been following cbssportsline.com college basketball predictions and noticed they we're powered by accuscore. Well I went to the accuscore website and signed up for a monthly sub. There is a wealth of info here and has really helped me pick winners and you can notice my my high RSI. It's worth a look for serious gamblers. I like betting underdogs, so I have to ways to win and I like betting moneylines with a higher percentage than the risk.
Early leans Niagra +8 & ML md +15.5 & ml kent +4.5 & ml nova -7.5 & ml MD ml is a longshot, but has 20% chance to win 10X $. I'll take that chance for a small wager. All of these are big plays. BOL and let's get the day started off good, so I can really dump on some late games. Heavy lean late games - MEM WMARY HOU COL |

Hey dude, let me know when the next fix is on. Bet a few units on the ml, but should have listened and paid the mortgage. Damn, now that's what I needed. I could have had double result ML +425. Was this a good guess or did you really have the inside track? What a call!!!!!
